Nansledan Life Magazine are proud to be working with the following local charities to help raise awareness and support
Cornwall Air Ambulance
Cornwall Air Ambulance is called to over 1000 seriously sick or injured people every year in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. When every minute matters, they can be the difference between life and death. As a charity, they rely on you the public to fund these lifesaving missions. Help keep the helicopter flying and help keep more families together.
The RNLI philosophy remains the same as it was in 1824: to provide their lifesaving service using volunteers wherever possible, with voluntary donations supplying the funds needed to do so. Working together with partners and communities, they aim to educate, influence, supervise and rescue those at risk from drowning.
A Newquay based charity that works with the disadvantaged and vulnerable. Primarily, they support and empower homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged people within the local community. By networking with other agencies they aim to help those who are homeless and those who potentially might be. They offer food, clothing, and advice, signposting those in need to organisations who can help with debt, housing, refuge, addiction, mental health etc.
Man down is a friendly and informal personal support group based in Cornwall for men with mental health concerns. They are working hard to shake off the taboo and squash the stigma attached to men’s mental ill health. They offer safe spaces to meet the current emotional and mental health needs of men in the Cornwall area.
